I’m so excited to join your group!
My biggest challenge will be to work on my confidence ( specially nobody to hold my hand to follow the lead anymore). I also have a fear that I forget all my steps of the choreography!

It really is important to take the article’s advice and find a costume designer with quality sewing skills. After all, when they’re designing the dress they have to make sure that it can move to match the dancer’s movement. In order to achieve that it may need to be sewn in different ways.

Great article Sarah, and oh so true. It reminds me of my ballroom competition days when I really had no clue as to what I was doing in terms of costumes. I wish I had you around at that time! My mistakes were many and mostly because I didn’t follow the rule of “do you feel awesome in that dress”. If the answer is no then it’s not right for you. I settled for what I thought I should wear but in hindsight it was a disaster! One person said I should wear bright colours so that I would stand out and boy did I stand out, not in a good way! 🙂 Follow the rules above and you’re sure to find a dress that makes your feel like a winner!
